Stemming from Hive Coliv’s coliving concept, the design of their first building results in simple timeless architecture that is generated from the imbedded layering in the project’s premise: efficiently sized living units based on the individual vs ample and rich common spaces catering to the community. The main core of the building is generated from a grid system based on the unit modules and floats on a series of pavilions and negative spaces housing the communal areas.
